AWV3 (A WoE Vid)

March 25, 2008

It’s Sring break for me and the next WoE vid is now out!

I wish I had something better to do this week than help my parents edit a couple DVDs and digitize a few VHS tapes.

WoE vid schedule + Finals update

March 19, 2008

I have one or two WoE vids still in my production queue waiting to be created, but I’ll have to put those off ’till Saturday or Sunday.

On a lighter note, I finished one final so far! It was easier than I had previously planned for, though I’m not sure whether it was because that particular finals were open book+open notes or if it was my sheer luck that got me through it. Oh well, too bad none of the other finals are going to be as lenient. Speaking of the other finals, I have three finals stacked against me in the time-span of the next two days. Not only do I have to study for all three at the same time, I also have to find time to sleep so that I can wake up early enough to actually take them. If I were to draw a graph of my stress level compared with the days leading into finals, I wouldn’t be able to fit it in this post. Simply because my stress level is ovER 9000!!!!!!!

Projects and Finals, ohnoez!

March 12, 2008

These next two weeks, I’m going to be extreeeeeeeeemely busy. Not only do I have my last comp sci project due in 24 hours, I have finals all of next week starting on Saturday.

If there was any one piece of advice I’d give to someone planning to go to college, it’s this: change your study habits now. If you don’t provide yourself the time to study, you’ll be stressed out so much when finals come around, you’ll end up sleeping through the next few days after its all done because you burnt yourself out.

If I were to describe what kind of student I was, I’d say I’m the kind of student that does all his work and passes all his tests. But only for the first 2 weeks or so. Then the amount of work getting done becomes less and less and the test grades start dropping like rocks. If the initial boost was large enough to keep me aloft, I pass the class. If not, well, I don’t know because that has never happened until now. My classes are now riding entirely on the finals. If I score anything below the 90th percentile, there’s a high chance I fail out. And have to take the class again.

RO History Update

March 5, 2008

A massive wall of text was updated on the My RO History page. It details much of my earlier days as a mage and covers events leading up to my first guild.

AWV2 (A WoE Vid)

Compiled in the two hours after WoE. WoEing in a big alliance has a very different feel than WoEing in a smaller alliance. In a small guild or alliance, you’d usually go against small guilds/alliances. That makes the amount of people you can kill more focused. You kill the few individuals that you happen to run across. In huge battles such as the ones in this WoE vid, you can pretty much click anywhere and you’d be targetting someone. Choosing who to kill at that point comes down to your priority list.
