Since midterms are over and this essay is basically finished, I can get back to my regular WoE vid release schedule. I never actually missed WoE last week, but editting takes time to perfect. I managed to pick up a few new songs from new anime releases too, so look forward to it.

On Life

Today, I got on RO for maybe an hour or so helping Draco level his aco. We’ve been doing pretty well at Sphinx 4 with him res-bombing Anubis with ygg leafs. Its very expensive, but the levels simply roll in. We’ve only spent something like 60-90 ygg leafs there and he’s gotten something like 8 base levels and something like 7 job levels. Something like that.

This past week, I’ve been busy with midterms and school life in general. Haha, just kidding, I haven’t done anything productive this past week due to 2x exp. I did have midterms though, so that sucked. On another topic, tuesdays and thursdays are becoming very mind-wracking days due to early English composition classes (9:30am, yes thats early to me). The past Thursday and tuesday, I actually had to pull an all-nighter just so I could make it to class. Tonight will be no different. Pretty soon, I’ll probably be skipping sleep altogether, who knows. Being nocturnal comes with small benefits though, like being able to camp any mvp you want, having an entire leveling map to yourself, getting an extra 8 hours to finish that essay thats due next morning…oh wait. bbl, essay.

So anyways, today was the 4th day of sinning and instead of focusing on leveling like the previous days, I decided to slow it down a bit for Draco to catch up. You see, I initially made a thief so I could help level Draco’s aco at the same time. However, he wasn’t on for two days. And by that time, I had already outleveled his aco by 40 levels. Today, I spent some time tanking his aco and merc at ID. Just yesterday, I managed to hit job 40 and went to get sonic acceleration. Tanking is boring business, so I’d occasionally one-shot a nearby monster.

By this point, you’re probably wondering, “wtf, I thought you were a double dagger sin?!?”. Well if you paid attention to the various hints in the Project [svn] page, you’d notice a few things. One, I described my build as having maxed katar mastery and sonic blow. Two, I mentioned my lack of an ice pick. And three, I mentioned my dps with a jur. My lack of ice pick is really going to hurt me later on, so its probably a good thing I slowed down on the leveling for now. ‘Sides, doing damage tests is always fun.

Draco had to afk for a little while, so I decided to do a little questing. First seal to be exact. Halfway though, I had to go to byalan to hunt some fish items, so I strapped on my jur, endowed myself, and winged all the way to the last floor. I was looking to hunt just one or two items, because I still had a lot of fish items from when HE went to byalan to hunt them to get everyone through the first seal. Noone ended up doing the quest though, and I was stuck with hundreds upon hundreds of fish items. Oh well.

After a while down there, I realized that this could very well be a good leveling spot for me. Chick hat + endowed 3x carded jur = amazing fast kill times.

Of course, I also had to test out sonic blow damage as well.

Too tired to make a post

But I started my sinX-to-be today. In 4 hours, I leveled it to level 52. Not too shabby for someone who only has two daggers, a stilleto and a kitchen knife. Details tomorrow!

The 8 hour essay

Remember that essay I was writing 2 or so days ago? Guess what the topic was. Barbie. Not only that, I had to actually do research via visiting the Barbie website. As if my eyes weren’t already stinging from pulling an all-nighter.

Anyways, despite what I thought was an obvious lack of effort, when we were doing peer reviews a day ago, my fellow partners thought the essay was great. Granted, their essays were a little on the average side, but they actually spent time working on them. My essay I threw together at the last minute. And they said it was great. What did I think? I thought I needed new partners. There is no way an 8 hour essay written when I was half asleep in the early hours of morning could be that good. Even I thought it was terrible when I read it aloud.

Btw, the actual topic isn’t Barbie itself (because I consider Barbie to be an IT) but the effect it has had on the consumer-driven economy of today.

MvPs and Upgrading

Lately, I’ve been camping a few no-name MvPs, mainly Hatii and Moonie. Hatii is one of the few MvPs I have a very easy time killing. Recent updates only added one skill to its lineup, Area freeze. But I have an unfrozen, so it’s a moot point. There’s very little competition at Hatii so I find it easy to get on my priest, lex it, and switch back to champ to asura before repeating it one more time. Moonie takes one asura to down, but dispel and its mob make it tricky to get a clean shot on. I didn’t take any screens of Moonie, but its not like I spent much time killing it.

The opening day of the 2x exp event, I went down to anubis on my priest despite better judgement. It wasn’t as crowded as I thought, so the exp was amazing. Went from lvl76 to 80 and job 47 to 50 in the time I was down there. I also managed to get two more Healing staffs so I decided to try my luck in overupgrading them. This is the first time I’ve actually overupgraded anything since I failed 50+ slotted shoes in an attempt to get +9 shoes.

I also overupgraded the one Draco was supposed to sell to +7 as well, but it broke going +8. At the very least I have a +7 though.

Guh

I realized I had a 5-6 page essay due on Tuesday. And it was Monday. So I slaved for 12 hours on this wretched essay. I just finished. It’s 6:44 am. And for some reason, I’m not tired. I guess I’ll just go eat breakfast and pretend that I went to sleep during the night.
